TRICAL BIKE

The event is all about designing a bike which is purely based on electrical circuits. The teams will be provided with the kit (including chassis, shaft, motor and all the active n passive components required) with the help of which they will have to design their own bike. In order to get a chance to design their own bike the participants will have to qualify through various testing levels. Only 10 deserving teams will get the opportunity to design their TRICAL BYK.

The event is divided in two phases. In first phase all the teams will go through various testing rounds and finally 10 teams will be selected. In the second phase the selected team will be provided with the kits to who make their own byk.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

1.1 Event Details

Round 1. (Crosswords and questions)

All the teams will be provided with a sheet containing crosswords and questions which they have to solve in half an hour.

Round 2. (Electrical story)

In this round the teams will be asked questions based on audio visuals. This round will be of half and hour.

Round 3. (Visual round)

In this round the teams will be asked questions based on audio visuals. This round will be of half and hour.

Round 4. (Trical bike design on paper)

All the teams reaching this round will be provided with a sheet of paper in which they have to draw a model for an electrical bike on the basis of given specifications. This round will last for 45 minutes.

1.2 Design of Trical Bike

This will be the final round of the event in which the teams will be provided with the kit required to make a bike. The byk should satisfy following conditions:
1. The bike should have atleast four speed levels.
2. It should have an electrical braking system.
The bike with the best electrical braking system will be awarded.

Two types of races will be conducted:
1.One for selecting fastest bike.
2.The other one for selecting the slowest one.

1.3 Auxiliary Events

In addition to the main event there are technical fun events like SHORT CIRCUIT, CONCEPT BOOSTERS.
